CBS has cancelled The Millers after being only four episodes into its sophomore season.

The comedy, which has been airing on Monday nights after being moved from Thursday nights, “stars Will Arnett as a TV-news reporter and Margo Martindale and Beau Bridges as his bickering, separated parents, according to USA Today.

The series was created by Greg Garcia, who also created the hit comedy series My Name is Earl and Raising Hope. Sean Hayes was added to the cast this season, but the faltering ratings ultimately lead to the show being cancelled.

According to Entertainment Weekly, production for the show will shut down after the final episode is filmed on Tuesday.

A new episode will air on Monday, November 17, but it is not known if further episodes will be aired.

Since the series premiere, ratings have dropped significantly. The series premiere brought in 13 million viewers, while the season premiere only brought in 8.93. The latest episode only landed 6.48 million viewers. The Millers has also been bringing down the ratings for CBS’ freshman hit series Scorpion that airs at 9:00 p.m. on Mondays.
