Catherine Greig, the longtime girlfriend and fugitive partner of mob boss James ‘Whitey’ Bulger, is due back in court on a contempt charge.
Greig is already serving eight years for her role in harboring Bulger as well as identity fraud, but she now faces a new contempt charge.
CBS Boston reports that Greig has refused to cooperate with authorities and divulge whether or not others were involved in helping Bulger avoid capture for 16 years.

Bulger was on the run from 1995 to 2011. During most of that time, he lived with Greig.
Greig pleaded guilty in 2012. She refused to speak at her sentencing.
Throughout Greig’s criminal process, her lawyer argued that she was so in love with Bulger she was unable to imagine she was “harboring” a killer – and her actions didn’t actually meet the requirement from criminal harboring. But prosecutors argued she used false IDs to help Bulger stay on the run.
