The CMT Music Awards will air tomorrow night, and Carrie Underwood will be using her appearance there to raise money for her home state. The 30-year-old country music singer announced today that she will pay tribute to the victims of the recent Oklahoma tornadoes with a special version of her new single “See You Again.”

“I just wanted to do something special for my family and my friends who’ve been putting their lives back together,” said Underwood.

According to an Associated Press report, viewers watching Underwood’s performance will be prompted to donate to the Red Cross. Underwood herself has recently given $1 million in concert sales to the Red Cross’ tornado relief efforts.

Though Underwood’s performance of “See You Again” at the CMT Music Awards will reportedly be a somber one, the studio version of the song will be in heavy rotation starting on Wednesday. Underwood is scheduled to debut the music video for “See You Again” live Wednesday morning on ABC morning show Good Morning America.
