The Carrie Bradshaw-Crowther mystery continues to deepen. The 49-year-old pregnant woman from North Carolina disappeared last week, about an hour before she was scheduled to check into a hospital for a scheduled C-section. Found alive on Monday, word has now emerged that she lost her baby.

Carrie Bradshaw-Crowther apparently left on her own. No foul play was involved in her disappearance. So why did this woman take off prior to her scheduled C-section? An undisclosed medical condition made it necessary for her to have one. Not doing so could have cost both her life and her baby’s.

Bradshaw-Crowther’s brother, Drew Bradshaw, spoke with WSOC TV in North Carolina on Tuesday. It was during his interview that the media learned Carrie Bradshaw-Crowther’s unborn child died.

“Carrie is presently hospitalized and is receiving much needed medical care, while it is unfortunate we no longer expect a new addition to our family and ask for your continued prayers,” he said.

When asked what happened to Bradshaw-Crowther’s baby, Drew Bradshaw remained mum.

In a statement on his Facebook page he posted, “We feel that releasing any more information should be in Carrie’s discretion after she has the opportunity to heal.”

Speculation is now running rampant, as people wonder what happened to Carrie Bradshaw-Crowther’s unborn baby.

Carrie Bradshaw-Crowther is recovering in a North Carolina hospital.
