During the Super Bowl XLVIII game, Disney got Marvel fans’ heart racing with a new movie teaser. Before the actual game begun, the teaser promoted a new Captain America: The Winter Soldier trailer. Fans were instructed to head online to see it; Marvel then released it on their Youtube page.

In the film Captain America/ Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) continues to adjust to the modern world. Besides dealing with all its complexities, he has to face several new enemies. The main villain of this film is the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), aka Bucky Barnes-Rogers former best friend who he believed was dead. Barnes is now a brainwashed assassin known as the Winter Soldier; he uses a sniper rifle and a mechanical arm to combat his enemies, which mainly includes Captain America.

The movie, more so than previous Marvel films, tackles the events that occurred after The Avengers ended. Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) help Captain America as he tries to defeat his biggest adversaries and protect S.H.I.E.L.D.

Captain will also get help in the form of Sam Wilson/The Falcon (Anthony Mackie). Besides the Falcon, other characters joining the Winter Soldier are Alexander Pierce (Robert Redford) and Agent 13/Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp).

Captain America: The Winter Soldier’s new trailer shows the dark world Rogers must face to survive.  It starts with the Black Widow informing him about the legend of the Winter Soldier. She calls him a “ghost,” and says that most people don’t even believe in his existence. Next there are scenes of the Winter Soldier causing destruction and hurting Fury. Then there is the pivotal introduction of The Falcon, who teams up with Roger to save the world. It ends with lots of battle shots.

This Winter Soldier trailer definitely gives Marvel fans something to drool over with anticipation, but fans have to wait a little longer, because the movie won’t hit theaters until April 4.
