Brooklyn Bowl Opens in Vegas: Lineup Announced

Bowling alley-rock club Brooklyn Bowl has some exciting announcements to share with music lovers. The club has recently announced the music calendar for its Las Vegas venue, which will be opening on March 8. The bowling alley club’s show headliners includes initial schedule includes Phil & Friends, the Avett Brothers and Steve Winwood.

The Vegas location marks the third “Brooklyn Bowl” club right after the second location opened on Jan. 16, inside the O2 Arena complex.

But what’s so different about the Brooklyn Bowl than other music clubs? Well, aside from the bowling, the musical acts are structured to resemble festival lineups bringing a new vibe to the club scene.

“In April when Phil Lesh plays, it’s going to go Phil Lesh at 9 o’clock, Trombone Shorty’s going to play a full show at one in the morning and Robert Randolph’s going to do gospel till dawn,” says co-owner and bowl founder Peter Shapiro.

“It’s like a festival lineup in a club. I don’t think that’s got precedent, to be honest. I don’t know when that’s been done. I don’t know when there have been three bands doing full sets in a club,” he said.
