Gearbox may have kicked off the holiday gaming season early with the release of Borderlands 2, but the game developer isn’t slouching now that games such as Halo 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops II have arrived. The company has already released one major DLC titled Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty (two if you count the Mechromancer add-on class).
This week, Gearbox revealed the subject of its next DLC. Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage will see players enter a tournament and defeat Torgue’s bandits. However, a twist will put players into a more traditional Borderlands-type campaign for a bit. A new in-game currency will also be included, called “Torgue Tokens,” meaning all that cash players have saved up over the past few weeks will be pretty worthless for the new vending machines.

Judging by the type of weapons the Torgue company releases (they’re all explosive), the new DLC will almost certainly feature some nice explosions. This could mean a fan-favorite character from the main Borderlands 2 campaign, Tiny Tina, might be back to help the vault hunters create some mayhem.
