Blac Chyna caused quite a stir in the Keeping Up With the Kardashians family when she first started dating Rob Kardashian. The ex of Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend Tyga–and mom of Tyga’s child–it was rumored that Kris Jenner didn’t even want Blac Chyna in her home.

Now it seems that might not be the case after all.

A family source told Us Weekly earlier this week that Kris Jenner is instead grateful to Blac Chyna.

“The whole family sees that it’s her who brought Rob back,” the source explained. “Kris is so grateful to Blac Chyna for rehabilitating her son.”

Rob Kardashian remained secluded for quite some time. He didn’t appear in public with sisters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian–and he put on a significant amount of weight.

The source says what Blac Chyna has done for Rob is simple. She has paid him the attention he has so desperately needed since his split from Rita Ora back in 2012.

“His confidence was shattered for so long, so to have this banging girl all over him has given him a new lease on life,” the source said.

Now, 65-pounds lighter, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are often spotted in public together–and sometimes with Blac Chyna and Tyga’s son, King Cairo.

That said, it’s plain to see that Kris Jenner likely doesn’t hate Blac Chyna after all–however, that doesn’t in any way mean the Keeping Up With the Kardashians clan is welcoming her with open arms.

Tyga dumped Blac Chyna in order to free himself so he could date Kylie Jenner.

There’s still some bad blood there.

So while it’s likely Blac Chyna won’t eat Easter dinner at the Kardashian-Jenner table, the doors are opening just a crack, and one day she might be allowed to slip through.

It’s highly unlikely, however, that Blac Chyna and Kylie Jenner will wind up BFFs.
