  • Bill O’Reilly and Donald Trump had a face off on the relevant social issues of today during Trumps interview on The O’Reilly Factor.

O’Reilly started the interview with the topic of Syrian refugees, in which he asked Trump if he would allow refugees into the country.

Trump replied, “I hate the concept of it, but on a humanitarian basis of what’s happening, you have to.”

Next topic O’Reilly brought was Kim Davis, a clerk who was released from jail after refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.

“It was too bad that she had to be put in jail and I’m a very, very strong believer in Christianity and religion,” Trump said, “but I will say that this was not the right job for her.”

They moved on to O’Reilly’s new favorite topic, the Black Lives Matter movement, which O’Reilly declared to be a hateful group in past airings of The O’Reilly Factor.

The Black Lives Matter movement is being accused now of being racist and promotes execution or hurting police officers. But the movement defended their cause which is to draw attention to police misconduct and the lack of police accountability, particularly as it disproportionately affects African Americans.

Regarding that, Trump told O’Reilly that Black Lives Matter movement are looking for trouble and it’s a disgrace that they are getting away with it.

He told O’Reilly that the theme of America should be “all lives matter” and “that includes black and that includes white and it includes everybody else.”

If all lives matter to Trump, O’Reilly questioned Trump’s support of abortion and his stand on Planned Parenthood.

“I’m not supporting Planned Parenthood,” Trump said. “I don’t know where you got this information, I never said that.”

Trump also added, “You read a wrong report, Bill. You have bad researchers, what can I tell you,” he continued. “A lot of people say it’s an abortion clinic. I’m opposed to that.”
