Best Buy is one of those stores that knows how to build anticipation for its Black Friday ad. When many stores are competing to get their ads out as soon as possible so people can start planning their Black Friday shopping, Best Buy knows that it’s better to wait and keep their customers wondering what great deals they will offer this year.
This year the crowds started lining up outside Best Buy weeks before Black Friday, as usual. Best Buy is one of the places where you see people camping in tents, and cooking food on the spot so they don’t have to leave or risk losing their coveted spots at the front of the line. This ensures that they will be the first ones in the door when Black Friday arrives at Best Buy and helps them get the deals they want.
Best Buy decided to follow suit with some other stores this Black Friday and instead of having one event time, they offer three. The first one will be at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving night and will offer a variety of doorbuster deals and specials that are hard for many people to resist. At 10 p.m. Thursday night, Best Buy will unveil their Midnight Mystery deals that will be available at Midnight on Friday.
Some of the best deals offered at Best Buy during their Black Friday event includes, a HTC One Phone for Verizon Wireless, AT&T or Sprint for $49.99, a Lenovo 7″ 16GB Memory Tablet and Case for $129.99 and several TV deals. How do you think this year’s Best Buy Black Friday ad compares to ones from years past?
