Benedict Cumberbatch has risen to the top of the celebrity hotness chain after turning “Sherlock” into a success and moving his way up the Hollywood ranks in quick order. It’s really only natural, then, that he should read some R. Kelly lyrics aloud in that sexy Sherlock voice of his.

Cumberbatch appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night to do just that, and the result is pretty hilarious, as you’ve probably already guessed. Kelly is getting some good reviews for his new album “Black Panties”, however, as it was leaked online a week earlier than the release date.

“This album is a nearly perfect achievement of bluntness, literalism, and indefatigability,” wrote Wesley Morris. “It’s just what you need after all the cuteness and pandering men are doing right now in popular music. The album features appearances by Kelly Rowland and Ludacris, to name a couple, and officially drops on December 10.
