Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner looked like any other couple on Tuesday of this week, dropping their kids off for their first day of this new school year.

A source tells PerezHilton.com, “They smiled and chatted during the morning run. There was no obvious tension between them.”

Maybe things are better between the two because Ben Affleck has supposedly stopped taking Christine Ouzounian’s phone calls? She’s the former nanny that he is alleged to have cheated on Jennifer Garner with.

Sources say Ben Affleck procured phones through which he and Christine Ouzounian could communicate at any time. When she hounded him constantly and appeared to be nothing more than an opportunist, he changed his phone number.

Regardless of what is and isn’t true regarding Christine Ouzounian, it seems like things are going swimmingly for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. She has been spotted resuming her normal life in California–attending church on Sunday and running errands during the week. The two seem to be taking their co-parenting duties very seriously.

“They were focused on making sure each kid had a good first day back at school,” the source added.

While it’s sad that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are among this summer’s marriage tragedies, they seem completely focused on their children–and that’s more important than anything else.
