Are you going to do some holiday shopping with Barnes & Noble over the next two months? Is a member of your family a Nook fiend? Well then, you may want to check out the bookseller’s pre-Black Friday shopping event.

Barnes & Noble announced today that it will kick off the holiday season with Discovery Friday. The November 22 event will take place at every store and feature numerous activities for both adults and kids, including a Duck Dynasty cut-out beard photo station.

“Barnes & Noble offers the ultimate holiday shopping experience for customers who enjoy the art of discovery, appreciate the human touch and recognize that the best recommendations don’t come from an algorithm,” said Mitchell Klipper, CEO of the Barnes & Noble Retail Group. “Discovery Friday shines a light on our 40,000 booksellers, undeniably our greatest asset, and also celebrates our customers by bringing the spirit of fun and discovery to their holiday shopping experience. We’ve partnered with the top publishers and hundreds of special guests to create an incredible lineup of events and activities in every one of our stores across the country. We can’t wait for our customers to discover what we’ll have in store at their local Barnes & Noble on November 22.”

While there’s plenty of events planned, like book signings and Harry Potter giveaways, all of this intended to get people in stores to buy a Nook. The bookseller says that the Nook GlowLight will be available at 20 percent off at the event. The discount puts the normally $119 eReader at $95. The Nook SimpleTouch will also be reduced in price to $49. There will be no discounts for the Nook HD or Nook HD+.

If you want to find out more about Discovery Friday, check out the official landing page for the event. Even if you don’t have any intention to buy a book, you might still want to show up for a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree.
