Ubisoft confirmed today that the PC version of Assassin’s Creed III will be coming late. Specifically, the PC version of the title will be released nearly one month after the console versions. The game’s publisher, Ubisoft, announced the PC release date in the UK as November 23, implying that the North American release date will be the previous Tuesday, November 20.

No specifics were given by Ubisoft as to why the PC version would be delayed. The title is currently set for an October 30 release date for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles. It will also be released as a launch title for the Wii U this fall.

PC gamers looking forward to Assassin’s Creed III were disappointed, but not surprised when Ubisoft Montreal Creative Director Alex Hutchinson told Gamespy that the game would not receive a much support for a keyboard and mouse setup.
