Ashlee Simpson celebrated her 30th birthday with a Christmas-themed bash that included her new husband, Evan Ross, as well as family members including sister Jessica Simpson. The party featured Christmas decorations that likely made those who truly love the holiday yearn for the next couple of months to go by a bit faster. While many parties in October take on a definite Halloween or spooky theme, this was probably one of very few–if any others at all–that celebrated with full Christmas regalia.

Evan Ross–son of music legend Diana Ross–wished Ashlee Simpson a very happy 30th birthday both at her party and in a picture he shared on Instagram.
