  • Ariel Winter didn’t look 18 on the SAG Awards red carpet on Saturday. Instead the world was treated to a sexy, much older-looking Ariel Winter. While on the red carpet she was asked about picking out gowns–and whether it was easier choosing one for the red carpet or her high school prom.

“They’re both stressful, you’ve gotta look great for prom, you’ve gotta look great for the awards, but I think it [the red carpet] definitely is more stressful because there’s so much more pressure on the red carpet for people,” she said. “I think it’s a little bit different.”

Laughing when talking about her red carpet style–a black mermaid style Romona Keveza gown–Ariel Winter explained the car-ride to the SAG Awards was interesting at best.

“In the car when I tell you that I laid down like this and stared at the ceiling because I could not get up, that’s exactly what happened,” she said.

Ariel Winter turned 18 just last week, and aside from an on-set celebration with her Modern Family family, she also celebrated alongside 300 party guests.

“It was Moroccan-themed…so we had belly dancers and we had a lot of really cool things,” she explained. “My cake was awesome, it was just a really great night, all my friends, family, everyone was there–like 300 [guests].

Even if it was difficult choosing a red carpet dress, Ariel Winter aced it. The Modern Family star was poised and sexy looking as she smiled for cameras and chatted with the press.

Wouldn’t you love to see her prom gown?
