Pop princess Ariana Grande has gotten negative attention from Big Bang Theory star Mayim Bialik for the sexy billboard in Los Angeles in which Grande is wearing lingerie. In a blog post on Kveller.com, the conservative Bialik admitted she didn’t know who Grande was but objected to her billboard.
Calling herself “old-fashioned,” Bialik wrote that she didn’t want her kids to be learning about sex from billboards. “Which is why a few billboards I have seen lately really bug me. There is one for Ariana Grande, and I will go ahead and admit I have no idea who she is or what she does. Based on the billboard, she sells lingerie. Or stiletto heels. Or plastic surgery because every woman over 22 wishes she has that body, I’m sure,” she wrote. Bialik continued in the blog post to wonder why Grande had to “sell herself in lingerie” if she was a talented singer.

Grande’s billboard promotes her new album, My Everything, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. She is the first woman to debut at No. 1 with her first two albums on the chart, but it may seem that her achievements have gone to her head with rumors circulating that Grande has also been acting like a diva.
E! News presenter Giuliana Rancic confirmed that she wasn’t pleased by how Grande treated her during an interview at the 2014 American Music Awards. She claimed that the singer elbowed her to the side before starting the interview.

“I felt like a bit of, you know, it was like ‘you either get on the other side or we don’t do an interview,’ and I just felt like it’s one thing if it’s Mariah, I’ll get on any side, I’ll bend down, I’ll climb a ladder, whatever it takes to get Mariah to do an interview. But when you’re new on the block, when you’re trying to earn your stripes, you’re young, you just gotta do what you gotta do,” Rancic said.
