Apple is said to be in talks to buy Beats Electronics (of Beats by Dre fame) for $3.2 billion, which would be Apple’s largest-ever acquisition and make Dr. Dre the richest rap star in the world, according to Forbes. He’s already buying Tom Brady’s mansion in L.A.

The acquisition news comes from the Financial Times, which reports that the deal could be announced as early as next week, but could still fall apart.
