Today at the Apple media event, the “New iPad” was unveiled to the masses. The latest “must have” iDevice will hit store shelves on March 16th, with preorders starting today.

Some of the key features to the new device are the retina display, updated camera, full HD 1080p video recording, and 4G LTE Connectivity.

As we said earlier, you will be able to get the new iPad on March 16th. It will be available in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland and Japan upon launch.

Now to the all important factor, the cost. The new iPad will set you back $499, $599 and $699 for 16, 32, and 64GB. Now if you want the 4G LTE version, you’ll have to pony up $629, $729, and $829.
