Apple has added Apple Music Classical integration to Shazam, giving users the ability to easily identify their favorite classical songs.
Apple purchased the Primephonic classical music streaming service in mid-2021 and launched Apple Music Classical in March.
“We love and have a deep respect for classical music, and Primephonic has become a fan favorite for classical enthusiasts,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats, at the time of Primephonic’s purchase. “Together, we’re bringing great new classical features to Apple Music, and in the near future, we’ll deliver a dedicated classical experience that will truly be the best in the world.”
According to AppleInsider, Apple has updated Shazam with the new classical integration. Users can use Shazam to identify classical songs and select the “Open in Classical” option to listen to the song in the Apple Music Classical app.
