Amy Schumer’s HBO special Live at the Apollo aired on Saturday and has a lot of people talking on Monday. Topical comments related to gender bias are making the headlines in the wake of recent comments on the subject from other celebrities.

Jennifer Lawrence, for example, got a lot of people talking when she penned a piece for Lena Dunham’s newsletter Lenny about gender discrimination in Hollywood – specifically when it comes to pay.

During her stand-up set, Amy Schumer talked about how women get labeled differently for doing the same things as men. Here are a few lines from the set as transcribed by The Hollywood Reporter:

“I’m labeled a sex comic. I think it’s just ’cause I’m a girl. I feel like a guy could get up here and literally pull his dick out, and everyone would be like, ‘He’s a thinker.'”

“I just think that sex is explained incorrectly as far as men and women’s roles go,” she said. “It’s like we’re all told over and over again men love sex, and women just deal with it. Right? Like every article, every sitcom, it’s always the guy getting home from work like, ‘Honey, how about tonight?’ And she’s always like, ‘Blah.’…”You’re made to feel really weird and disgusting if you’re a girl who loves to have sex.

Amy Schumer’s special is currently available for viewing on HBO Now. The show was directed by Chris Rock.
