Amy Poehler doesn’t care about Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and she never cared about it–in fact, she told Seth Meyers she “never f*cking did.”

Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and other cast members of their new film Sisters visited Late Night With Seth Meyers on Thursday, touting the merits of their film. In fact, they hoped to convince Star Wars: The Force Awakens fans to see Sisters in addition to or in place of the latest installment. It has to be a bit disconcerting to have your film premiere on the same weekend as Star Wars. What are the odds of that?

In keeping with their “see our film” theme, Seth Meyers presented each of them with a Star Wars action figure, with which they were to make their case to viewers and Seth’s audience for seeing Sisters.

Ike Barinholtz went first, holding up his Kylo Ren figurine. Adam Driver plays Kylo Ren in the film.

”Why would you see a movie with the guy from Girls when you could see a movie with the guy from The Mindy Project?” he asked.

“I am a creature. I don’t have any relatives, but if I did, I wish I could have two sisters,” Tina Fey said in a really bad attempt at impersonating PZ-4CO, the new droid in Star Wars.

Amy Poehler’s action figure was that of Constable Zuvio. After attempting–and failing–at pronouncing his name three times in a row, she gave up and spoke her mind about the new Star Wars film.

“I don’t care! I don’t care about Star Wars and I never f*cking did. I’m tired of pretending; I don’t care about it,” she exclaimed.

Amy Poehler gave it the old college try, however, and attempted to make Zuvio talk. She hid the action figure’s face, saying he’s embarrassed that he’s seeing Star Wars.

Rachel Dratch did a Wookie impersonation that wasn’t half bad, after which Maya Rudolph tried helping redeem Amy Poehler.

“I will never know the touch of a real woman. Please go see Sisters,” she said in the voice of her figurine, BB-8.

The Atlantic says Sisters is awful–but Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are great. The New York Times says go see it when you run out of shows on TV. It doesn’t sound like something people will forego Star Wars to see–does it?
