19 Kids and Counting may be off the air as a regular show on TLC, but so is Jon and Kate Plus 8. That doesn't mean we saw the last of Kate Gosselin, or Jon either, for that matter. That guy was working in a restaurant and going broke and we still hear about his life.
There are TV specials planned for the Duggar clan, but one source says the family is upset about losing its outlet. The source says the Duggars are "heartbroken that they've now lost that platform."
"The Duggars want to return to TV because they truly believe it was part of God's plan for them to spread the word about their faith," the source says.
What might it say that the Duggars thought it was part of God's plan for them, but it went away? Didn't they also think God wanted them to have 19+ kids? What if they were wrong about that, too?
According to the source, the Duggars seemed to think everyone would get over their name being associated with molestation, homophobia, and intolerance. They put Josh Duggar's molester past behind them, why can't everyone else?
"I think Jim Bob and Michelle honestly did expect people to just move on from this," the source adds. "Their thinking is, they put this behind them ages ago, so why wouldn't the rest of the world?"
There was talk of doing a spin-off with two of the Duggar sisters, but now comes the word that Jim Bob Duggar is frowning on that. Funny, seems he gave his girls away to other grown men who are now their subjugators. Why does he get to tell them they can't do a show without their touchy brother?

When the Duggars announced that their show was not being renewed, they alluded to the Josh Duggar scandal that brought their empire down.
With God’s grace and help, Josh, our daughters and our entire family overcame a terrible situation, found healing and a way forward. We are so pleased with the wonderful adults they have all become.
It is our prayer that the painful situation our family went through many years ago can point people toward faith in God and help others who also have lived through similar dark situations to find help, hope and healing, as well.
Everybody should just relax. We'll never be rid of Kate Gosselin. We'll probably never be rid of Robocall Michelle Duggar.
