UFL Debuts Tonight, Partners with AOL
Football has been a common theme in the United States in search trends and traffic, as discussed recently. That has mainly been related to the National Football League and college football. However, a new league debuts tonight, and while it may not come close to achieving the amount of popularity of these other two, a fair amount of people will likely be searching for information about it tomorrow (and late tonight).

Chad Ochocinco and His Tweeting Ways
The football player formerly known as Chad Johnson is ruffling some feathers with the National Football League. He has told the media that he plans to use Twitter during games. The World Series of Poker is now underway, and Twitter is pointing out a Twitter app called PokerRoad Nation, which aggregates tweets from professional players.
With PokerRoad Nation, users can filter the tweets to see updates from specific WSOP players or from specific events. There are over 50 events, and thousands of players (pros and amateurs).

Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft sure do a good job of looking out for sports fans and film enthusiasts. Although each company uses a different name for its feature, all three recently highlighted ways in which users can receive the latest information.
