Mayim Bialik, best known for her role as “Blossom” on the ’90s television show, was involved in an accident on Wednesday in Los Angeles that left her injured.

Bialik was driving alone on her way to a family gathering when a car carrying three tourists slammed into her nearly head-on, causing her to injure her left hand and thumb. Apparently one of her fingers was cut so severely it was nearly severed. She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and later tweeted about the incident.

Bialik’s rep issued a statement about the accident and assured her fans that she would be back at work today on the set of “Big Bang Theory”, calling it “a minor car accident … she is doing fine and will be returning to work tomorrow. She thanks everyone for their concern. ”

The occupants of the other car suffered minor cuts and bruises.

The only good thing about that show “Blossom” was the character named “Six” played by Jenna von Oÿ. I wanted to destroy that chick in the worst way, back in the day!

Glad you’re still in one piece Mayim. Love your character on the Big Bang Theory and looking forward to many more seasons.

Wow, mostly severed finger and still shamelessly self promoting. That’s an animal for Hollywood to be proud of.
