Facebook Graph Search For Mobile Spotted

By: Chris Crum - June 17, 2014

It’s been a year and a half since Facebook first unveiled Graph Search. Since then the updates have been few and far between, that it’s sometimes easy to forget that there are supposed to be more features coming to it.

For example, we’re supposed to be able to search posts with it at some point (which would make it a whole lot more useful). In fact, this was announced all the way back in October, and still isn’t available to many of us.

Mark Zuckerberg said Graph Search would eventually make its way to mobile back when the product was first unveiled. This past January, he said it would do so “pretty soon”. We’re still waiting on that, but now there’s a sign that it’s on the horizon.

InsideFacebook has pictures of the company testing Graph Search on the mobile web (still not in the mobile apps as far as we know). The company told Search Engine Land they’re “testing improvemens to Facebook mobile search.”

It’s not much, but it’s something.

This has to be one of the slowest feature roll-outs in social media history.
