Dez Bryant’s Amazing Sideline Tantrum [VIDEO]

The big story from the Dallas Cowboys-Detroit Lions game today wasn’t so much the 31-30 thriller that the Lions won in the final seconds as it was Dez Bryant’s epic meltdown on the Cowboys sideline. The Dallas wide receiver went off on, well, pretty much everyone. Words don’t really do Bryant’s temper tantrum justice, so watch the video below.

After the Lions scored a touchdown with just 12 seconds left on the clock, Bryant lost his cool. Not only did Bryant get into it with fellow player Jason Witten today, he also gave Tony Romo, head coach Jason Garrett and wide receivers coach Derek Dooley a piece of his mind.

Ironically enough, Bryant made the following post on Twitter just days before his sideline explosion:

While a lot of guys would probably say they were sorry if they were caught going off on a coach and other players during the game, Bryant wasn’t exactly what you’d call apologetic. “My passion is always positive. I’m not saying anything wrong. I’m not saying anything bad. It’s all positive…Even when I look angry, it’s all good passion…In order to win you have to be passionate about this game. You have to let that dog come out and put it all on the line,” Bryant told the Dallas Morning News.

Even Cowboys owner Jerry Jones doesn’t have a problem with Bryant’s behavior on the sideline. “That’s emotion and I don’t place any issue on his demeanor or his sideline activity,” Jones said. “He’s a very emotional player and this was a tough game for him to compete in because he wanted to really contribute and do everything he could for the team and to win.”

This wasn’t the first time (and probably won’t be the last time) that Bryant has gone off on the Cowboys sideline. Bryant had a little fit back in September after hurting his ankle. This time, a Gatorade cooler was the recipient of his anger.

Dez Bryant is receiving a lot of flak on Twitter for his outburst, and some say he has no respect for his team. Post your thoughts on Bryant’s outburst below.

I think that Dez Bryant sould just chill out your wining & playing great but you can’t take it out on your teammates because everyone is doing there job but you can’t stop A(n) good playing Detroit Lions Squad from scoring or wining!!!! But don’t go all out on offense squad ,go all out on your defense for not stoping them,But don’t today cause it was a good game to watch & play.

This guy Nicholas is Correct, you also dont’ to get made @ gatorade company, and their gatorade because you know you going tto drink it and eat it. and that not what cause you to lose the game because other teams don’t complain about the sport drinks not working but it not the drink that effects the way you play it just there to energise you.Becuse some one posted you angry saying “dez bryant will NEVER dink gatorade AGAIN”!!! make sure dez bryant see this

        Gatorade? wtf

  • Really?

When Dez started to go crazy, the Cowboys were LEADING by 10 points. He was just upset that he wasn’t the center of attention in the game.

We need to stop being so politically correct. He was being an ass and was only thinking about himself. I wish Witten or Ware would have knocked him out.

The last thing your team needs when you are winning is someone complaining.

Everybody needs to get off his back for being passionate. And Vick and suh are thugs, dez wants to win. Tom Brady did the same thing MANY times so did Peyton. Just Google tom Brady tantrums and Peyton manning tantrums. Its called passion to win.
