Chelsea O'Donnell has had a rough few months. She supposedly ran away from home this summer, winding up in New Jersey at the home of a convicted drug deal she met online.

In an interview with Inside Edition, however, Chelsea O'Donnell claims she didn't run away from home, but that adoptive mom Rosie O'Donnell told her to leave instead.

As the interview--which is set to air on Monday--proceeds, Chelsea O'Donnell is asked if she loves Rosie O'Donnell.

"I care about her and I hope she's doing well. But love is a big word and I wouldn't really use that," Chelsea says.

Asking for clarification, the host asks, "Do you love Rosie?"

"No," Chelsea O'Donnell replies.

Not only must this revelation be heartbreaking for Rosie O'Donnell, it is no doubt a bit confusing, too. The comedian points out, via Twitter, that Chelsea just recently said she didn't wish to discuss the situation with Rosie O'Donnell, and now has sat for an interview on the very topic.

Chelsea O'Donnell was reunited with Rosie and the rest of her family when she was located in New Jersey. Once she turned 18, however, she left home for good--initially saying she was leaving to live with her birth mom.

It seems like Chelsea has some growing up to do. Even if she and Rosie O'Donnell don't get along, she clearly doesn't have the maturity to defer that kind of question.

It sounds like the interviewer knew how to play Chelsea O'Donnell, and had the 18-year-old saying things she might one day regret.

In the meantime, Rosie O'Donnell must be devastated.

Do you see the situation between Rosie and Chelsea O'Donnell working itself out in the near future--or will the two remain at odds for some time to come?
