In a message accompanying the photo, Mayer wrote:

“One of our new Yahoo!s Andrew was really bugged by the registered trademark symbol at the end of our logo; he’s gone on a mission removing all the R’s from our site and our campus. This is one on the random R’s we pulled off a wall :)”

In somewhat related news, BusinessInsider is reporting that it has learned from “a source familiar with the details of her dramatic hiring,” that Mayer only gave Google 30 minutes notice before quitting and accepting her new role at Yahoo. That’s after 13 years at the company.
