Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey have been friends for years, but after their recent stint together on the hit HBO show True Detective, they’ve become even closer. Their friendship has become something of a legendary Hollywood story, and the duo made fans extremely happy when they showed up to present at the 2014 Emmy Awards together and then proceeded to riff on one another onstage.
“Alright, alright, alright. Come on back to the Airstream after, I’ll make the best margarita,” Harrelson said as he got to the mic, mimicking McConaughey’s classic line and nailing his deep drawl.
The buddies joked around for a minute or two before presenting the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie, and as they were onstage, several viewers noticed something interesting: they were both dressed like two very famous characters from Saturday Night Live.

Yes, the pair looked quite a bit like the “Night At The Roxbury” guys, otherwise known as Chris Kattan and Will Ferrell. And Kattan totally noticed.

Neither actor has commented on whether the looks were an intentional homage to the classic sketch/movie, but we like to think it was.
