Val Chmerkovskiy is paired with Janel Parrish this season on Dancing With the Stars–and the two make an impressive dance couple. Janel, however, wants a romance with Val–at least according to a source who spoke to Hollywood Life. Do you think he’s in love with her or could fall in love with her in the near future?

“Janel wants something to happen but it’s still for the cameras,” the source tells Hollywood Life. “Janel‘s persistence may change things though. They play as a couple in front of the cameras and art might be imitating life if Janel gets her way.”

Janel recently addressed rumors about her and Val via her blog. You’ll notice, however, that she never denied that something was brewing between the two.

“As far as the rumors of romance between Val and me, I just want people to focus on the dancing that we do and the hard work that we do,” she wrote. “I appreciate that people see that we have chemistry, and we absolutely do, but whatever feelings we have, those are our feelings and those are personal.”

Janel Parrish is a free woman these days, too, so there’s no reason she and Val Chmerkovskiy couldn’t embark on that romance. Janel and Payson Lewis called it quits shortly after she began competing on Dancing With the Stars. In fact, it was only a few hours after Payson announced his split from Janel online that she and Val double dated with his brother Maksim Chmerkovskiy and his former Dancing With the Stars partner, Meryl Davis.

Janel was spotted out on a date with Val Chmerkovskiy yet again last weekend. In fact, the two were spotted kissing at an L.A. Halloween party.
