Twitter Photo Sharing Feature Now Live

Twitter appears to be olling out its native photo sharing feature. If you click on the “what’s happening now” box on Twitter.com, you will see a camera icon, which when clicked, will allow you to choose a photo from your hard drive to upload.

Once you’ve uploaded it, and post your update, the photo will be available in the form of a link. When you click the link, it should look something like this:

At the beginning of June, Twitter announced that it would be releasing a native photo sharing feature. Third-party app makers, which users had relied on were not incredibly happy about it. They’re probably not all that happy today either.

While we’ve seen a few reports of users getting access to the new feature, we haven’t seen any official announcements about it being live. If you’re not seeing it yet, it’s probably coming soon.
