Brace yourselves, Twitter is down for some users.

The problem seems to have begun around 11:30 EST, as users took to other social media sites like Google+ to relay the news.

The Twitter status blog has acknowedged the problem, saying this in a post:

Users may be experiencing issues accessing Twitter. Our engineers are currently working to resolve the issue.

Just over a month ago, Twitter experienced the worst crash in eight months, as the site was down intermittently for users for nearly two full hours. It continued to be hit or miss for a small portion of users for a much longer period of time.

Let’s just hope this downtime isn’t as prolonged.
