Tony Parker has sued the club where the infamous Chris Brown/Drake showdown took place, according to the New York Post. Parker, who is scheduled to play in the 2012 Summer Olympics, was in the club when the fight broke out. During the incident, Parker alleges that his cornea was scratched when bottles started flying through the air. As a result, he would like the club owners to cough up the cash to repair the ocular trauma, and then some.

According to court documents, Parker states that W.i.P., which is now closed for business, is responsible for his pain and suffering due to their negligence. “The defendants were reckless, careless and negligent in permitting Drake’s entourage and Brown’s entourage to be in the club at the same time despite known tension between the two,” the lawsuit explains.

Although Parker states that he was at the club with his friend Chris Brown, the NBA star explained that he wasn’t a member of the singer’s entourage. However, he and his buddies did “take a few punches” when the fight began to escalate. Before he could escape the melee, a piece of broken bottle found its way towards his eyeball, causing the damage he’s suffering from today.

Perhaps the worst part of the whole debacle for Parker is the therapeutic contact lens he’s forced to wear while the cornea heals. Because of the injury, the professional basketballer will miss the start of the French team. Compensation, he feels, is in order. To the tune of $20 million, no less.

Depending on who you talk to, the whole shebang began when Chris Brown sent a bottle of champagne over to Drake’s table. In response to the offering, Drake sent back a note stating, “I’m f*cking the love of your life”, which, as you’d expect, caused Brown to freak out. Within minutes, the club was engulfed in chaos as fists and bottles were tossed around with reckless abandon. Both singers claim they had nothing to do with the scuffle.
