Tina Fey is working on a new show called Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Tina Fey fans everywhere are waiting with bated breath. If even a premiere date would be set, we could relax a little.

Fey created the new series with Robert Carlock. Tristram Shapeero is directing, and if you needed any more proof that Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will be a huge hit, consider his resume.

Shapeero is responsible for Community, Happy Endings and Parks and Recreation.

The show follows the life and antics of Kimmy Schmidt, played by the amazing Ellie Kemper, who has broken away from a cult and is doing a press tour in New York.

After the tour, she decides to stay in New York.

With just a backpack, sneakers, some library books, and a little cash, she sets out to begin life anew.

She becomes a nanny to a rich woman on the Upper East Side who is played by Tina Fey's 30 Rock co-star, Jane Krakowski. Hilarity is sure to ensue with this kind of comedic star power!

30 Rock's Titus Burgess plays Titus, a struggling actor who rents a room to Kimmy. In 30 Rock, he was D'Fwan and appeared primarily in the Queen of Jordan episodes opposite Sherri Shepherd as Angie Jordan.

Those were so great.

So can Tina Fey restore the magic and success she found on Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock? I guess we will see, but I am pretty certain that she will.

The show will air on NBC and hopefully they will release a premiere date soon so we can all mark our calendars.

Good luck to Tina Fey and her amazing cast on the new show, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt! Not that she needs it...
