  • The Walking Dead proved last year that the adventure game genre was still alive and well. It also proved once and for all that you can take a super popular license and transfer it to another medium without losing what made the original work so special. Now the developers at Telltale Games are back for season two, and a familiar face is here to greet fans.

In the premiere trailer for Telltale’s The Walking Dead: Season Two, gamers are treated to what an older, presumably more seasoned Clementine looks like. In an even bigger surprise, gamers will be able to control Clementine this time around as she’s the main character in season two.

    Here’s the official synopsis:

The Walking Dead: Season Two continues the story of Clementine, a young girl orphaned by the undead apocalypse. Left to fend for herself, she has been forced to learn how to survive in a world gone mad.

Many months have passed since the events seen in Season One of The Walking Dead, and Clementine is searching for safety. But what can an ordinary child do to stay alive when the living can be just as bad — and sometimes worse — than the dead?

As Clementine, you will be tested by situations and dilemmas that will test your morals and your instinct for survival. Your decisions and actions will change the story around you, in this sequel to 2012’s Game of the Year.

As in the first season, players will be tasked with making hard decisions that affect the outcome of each episode. Telltale also notes that decisions made in season one and 400 Days will impact the events in season two. In other words, you better get those saves ready for when The Walking Dead: Season Two hits the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac and iOS in the coming months.
