If you follow sports at all, and visit ESPN.com on a regular basis, you’ve more than likely run across a Tim Tebow article. Quite possibly one of the most polarizing sports figures in recent years, the love/hate he draws is on mammoth levels. Much of the negative response dealing with how vocal Tebow is concerning his faith.
All of this attention has turned into a practice known as: Tebowing. If you would like to start tebowing, it’s pretty simple. According to the site, Tebowing is: getting down on a knee and start praying, even if everyone else around you is doing something completely different.
The site has already drawn a large number of submissions, with #tebowing already trending on Twitter. Here are some of my favorite submissions so far.
Toddler Tebowing
The Trick or Tebow
Operating Room Tebowing
Beatles Tebowing
Chiropractic Tebowing
The reaction on Twitter has been mixed, as expected. The funny part being that many of the Tebow supporters are enjoying the humor behind the practice. While others aren’t so much.
@juliehowlett no #tebowing is when you get down on one knee and be thankful that you just beat the Miami Dolphins…
#tebowing has just completled my life .
I LOVE Tebow but this is just crazzzyy . Lmao. (:
As with all internet crazes which pick up steam, the overall goal is to make a profit. With the strategy looking to be selling t-shirts.
God bless the internet, and tebowing.
