  • Ronda Rousey sat down for an interview recently, and the undefeated UFC champ spoke about fighting Floyd Mayweather (not going to happen) and what type of man she wants; the answer may be surprising to some of her fans.

The MMA fighter said that a lot of people expect her ideal man to be a big, heavily-muscled athlete, but she says it’s just the opposite. When she comes home at the end of the day, she just wants what a lot of women want: a man who will take care of her.

“Everyone expects that I want these giant, burly guys, and that’s not really the case. I don’t come home from the gym and feel like super rough… I want to be a girl when I come home. I want to be taken care of when I get home,” Rousey said. “Right now, I’m waiting for a tall, dark pediatrician or something, you know. Something like that.”

In that same interview with Access Hollywood, Ronda reiterated that she does not want to fight a man, even if he’s in the form of a huge challenge named Floyd Mayweather. Rumors have been flying recently that Rousey will be fighting a male now that she’s almost gone through the entire UFC roster of females, but she said that pitting a man against a woman would not help the sport at all.

“I just don’t think there should ever be a situation where there is an arena full of people gathered around cheering about a man hitting a woman. I really don’t see how that would be right. I really don’t see how that would help the sport at all. It would do nothing but hurt it. Because it’s real. It’s a real fight. It’s not like it’s a movie or a part of a storyline. It’s an actual man hitting a woman and I don’t think that’s ever acceptable,” she said.
