Rob Kardashian has been the center of controversy since Kim Kardashian’s wedding to Kanye West, last month.

Now, he’s making headlines again.

After months of dodging the paparazzi, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star had to face cameras for the first time when he departed from L.A.X. to attend his sister’s high-profile wedding.

Unfortunately, his reason for avoiding snapshots made him a prime target for scrutiny. Its no secret the 27-year-old reality TV star has been battling with his weight for quite sometime.

However, fans weren’t really aware of how bad things are, because that’s not all Rob’s supposedly battling. Several media outlets report that he’s also having a bout with addiction.

According to the IB Times, Rob is severely depressed as a result of his weight gain. Its been reported that he’s reached an “all-time low,” and has turned to drugs and alcohol as a form of self medication.

To be more specific, Rob is reportedly addicted to pain killers and sizzurp. For those who don’t know, “sizzurp,” also referred to as “Purple drank,” is a concoction that consists of prescription-strength cough syrup with codeine and promethazine, Sprite and Jolly Rancher candy.

An insider close to Rob spoke with In Touch Weekly with details about his alleged downward spiral.

“He’d just lie around his place smoking weed, doing drugs, watching movies and eating,” an insider told the publication. “He said he ‘needed’ the pills.” But, sizzurp isn’t all he’s reportedly addicted to. Rob has also been rumored to be hooked on pain killers like Norco and Percocet, in addition to the anti-depressant, Xanax.

His mother, Kris Jenner, has also opened up about this rough time in his life. Although she didn’t confirm whether all of the speculation is true or not, she did admit that he is going through a lot.

“Rob is living in L.A. right now, and he’s doing well, finding out what makes him tick and struggling with some stuff,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch told E! News. “My job is to be there for him and to love him as hard as I can. Everybody goes through stuff.”

Hopefully, all of the speculation isn’t true. Only time will tell.
