  • When a Predator kills something, it rips the head out along with the poor creature’s spine. It’s easily one of the coolest kills in movie history, and now you can be a part of that history this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con.

Twentieth Century Fox announced this week that it’s selling preorders for the original Predator film’s debut on Blu-ray in 3D at Comic-Con this weekend. The film, which costs $129.99, will ship in a Predator’s head. As part of that preorder, you will also receive a custom 3D printed figurine of a Predator holding up your severed head.

Here’s what it will look like:

It’s a little goofy, I know, but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. When are you going to get another chance to have your head torn off by a Predator?

Of course, you may feel that $129.99 is a little too much. Thankfully, there are two other ways to get your head torn off by a Predator. The first is that you can preorder the standard Blu-ray for $49.99. The second is to take a picture of a Predator at Comic-Con and upload it to Twitter with the hashtag “#HUNTthePREDATOR.” Doing so will enter you into a contest where the prize is a front of the line pass at the 3D printer kiosk.

This isn’t the first time that 3D printers have been used to such awesome effect. During the summer, Disney offers Star Wars fans a chance to have their faces put onto a stormtrooper. It’s definitely cool, but it’s still nowhere near as cool as being killed by a Predator.
