Facebook has just added a new functionality that had been previously available in third-party development tools such as Post Planner and Buffer, which allows users to schedule their posts in advance. Ever since the social network’s IPO, numerous protocols and functionalities have been expanded upon regarding anything that affects potential ad content, as some investors fear that the platform is plainly not set up to aptly display this sort of thing.

Posts can now be queued as long as 6 months in advance, and can be placed at 15 minute intervals. Here are the instructions on how to queue a post:

– Go to the page’s sharing tool.
– Choose the type of post.
– Click the clock icon in the lower left-hand corner of the sharing tool.
– Select the year, month, day, hour, and minute. All times correspond to the time zone the user is in at the time of this action.
– Click schedule.
