Pippa Middleton experienced a bit of angst earlier this weekend when her car broke down and brother James Middleton came to the rescue. Fortunately the mishap didn’t take place when Pippa–along with mom Carole Middleton–were en route to London for their first visit with the new royal baby.

Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed their little princess on Saturday, weighing in at eight pounds and three ounces. She joins big brother, Prince George. The royal baby’s name has yet to be announced.

Pippa Middleton is now ‘Auntie Pippa’ to both Prince George and the new royal baby. Carole Middleton is no doubt thrilled to be grandmother to two royal babies.

Pippa Middleton first made news when her famous derriere graced the pages of tabloids and fashion magazines around the world when Kate Middleton and Prince William married. Pippa garnered almost as much attention as the new Duchess of Cambridge,

The media initially reported that Carole and Pippa Middleton arrived to see the new royal baby on Saturday, but new reports say that wasn’t true. They arrived on Sunday instead, as did Kate and Pippa Middleton’s dad, Michael Middleton.

It’s uncertain what Kate Middleton and Prince William will name their little princess, but Alice, Olivia, and Charlotte seem to top most lists generated thus far. Many wonder if she might be named after William’s late mother, Princess Diana.

As of early Sunday, Queen Elizabeth had yet to meet the new royal baby. Perhaps she will make her visit once Carole and Pippa Middleton have made theirs.

Despite who visits when or what the royal family names their new bundle of joy, there is no doubt lots of activity around Kate Middleton and Prince William–and that is likely to continue for at least the next few days. As anyone can attest, bringing a new baby home–royal or not–is an incredibly busy time.
