  • Paula Patton has been one busy lady since her split from ‘Blurred Lines’ singer Robin Thicke. Rumored to have recently been filming Mission Impossible 5 with Tom Cruise, fans will be thrilled if she reprises her role as Jane Carter.

“She [Patton] was a great presence in the last movie [Ghost Protocol], and it would be a true shame for her to be the only one of the main stars not to come back,” CinemaBlend reports.

Paula Patton fans can definitely catch the actress in the upcoming film Warcraft, however–even though they have more than a year’s wait. The fantasy film is based on the Warcraft video game series, in which Paula plays the role of Garona–a survivor ‘caught between the Alliance and the Horde.’

Paula announced the Golden Globe nominations this week, along with Kate Beckinsale.

Patton’s ex, Robin Thicke, isn’t experiencing quite the level of busyness and success that Paula is enjoying these days. In fact, his album–Paula–named after Patton in his attempt to woo her back–is considered a flop. Entertainment Weekly has dubbed it the ‘weirdest album of the year.’

‘The album’s perplexing qualities are handily summed up in the ‘Get Her Back’ video, where Thicke pleads for the forgiveness of a wife who won’t even speak to him while simultaneously getting felt up by models,’ a recent review reads.

It sounds like Paula Patton and Robin Thicke are at completely opposite ends of the entertainment spectrum right now–with her achieving some success while he is floundering in an attempt to hold on to fans. (Hopefully he has finally given up on getting Paula back.) Both are rumored to have moved on in the relationship department–and that’s probably a very good thing.
