Paul Walker’s death was mourned by thousands and many people who knew the star are still having trouble dealing with it. Walkers fans have created a memorial at the crash site and many brought their muscle cars to the site to pay tribute to Walker’s life.

Flowers, photos and small gifts were left at the crash site in memory of Walker and although the tribute event was scheduled to start at noon on Sunday, fans began arriving hours beforehand to celebrate the life of the beloved actor.

Car enthusiasts reved their engines off and on for hours and although several people were sited for illegal parking, the tribute went on without any problems.

Walker was best known for his role in the Fast and Furious films, but after his death, several people came forward with stories that showed another side of Walker that few people knew. Friends and even strangers told of how he had made generous contributions to those in need and how dedicated he was to helping others.

He was involved with many charities and conservation programs and never hesitated to help someone in need, whether it be a homeless person on the street or a young couple trying to purchase their wedding ring set. Walker was a good Samaritan who simply loved to help people and never worried about being recognized for his selfless ways.

Walker was attending a fundraiser in California when he and his business partner and friend, Roger Rodas decided to take a Porsche Carrera GT for a ride. The car crashed into a telephone pole and a tree and killed both Walker and Rodas.

Walker was in the middle of filming Fast and Furious 7 and the production of the film has been put on hold so the other actors can grieve and writers can determine how to finish the film without Walker.
