Things got weird on Thursday night when former Nickelodeon actress Amanda Bynes attempted to hang out with socialite Paris Hilton at a popular L.A. nightclub.

According to a witness, after Bynes entered the 10ak nightclub with a male friend, she tried to sit down at Hilton’s table in the VIP area where the 33-year-old sat with friend Brandon Davis.

“Amanda tried to sit at Paris and Brandon’s table, and they were not happy about it,” the witness said. “There was a scene, and words exchanged, before they kicked her out of their area.”

For the rest of the evening, Bynes stood around the club acting very strange.

“Amanda wasn’t drinking, but she was acting really weird,” the witness said. “She stood in the middle of the club with her friend, looking really awkward, and just seemed totally out of it.”

Bynes was recently released from a psychiatic facility in Pasadena, California where she was placed on temporary psyche hold after accusing her father, via Twitter, of sexual, verbal, and physical abuse as a child.

Shortly after making these allegations, she retracted her post on the social network saying, “My dad never did any of those things. The microchip in my brain made me say those things but he’s the one that ordered them to microchip me.”

Bynes’ mother Lynn responded to the allegations through her lawyer, saying, “These accusations are absolutely horrible and could not be further from the truth! These allegations stem from Amanda’s mental state at the moment. They have no basis in reality. It saddens me beyond belief that my husband’s character could be slandered in such a way.”

Although the Twitter posts have been deleted, Bynes continues to use the website as an outlet.

Bynes was also recently recorded on tape threatening to kill her parents, Rick and Lynn.

“I don’t want to shoot my father in the face, and that’s why I said I want to like strip for him as a joke,” she said. “I want to literally like lead him into a ditch and … I haven’t decided how I’d want to murder him, because now I have like this war wound on my face, and I don’t believe in murder. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than like, slitting his throat.”

Bynes’ family wants the tapes released so that they can act as a “wake-up call for medical professionals to intervene and get her help.”

Paris Hilton has been one of Bynes’ idols for years. Last year Bynes wanted to get a puppy so she could tote it around like Hilton used to do.

“Amanda thought Paris was so glamorous when photographers would follow her around all the time,” a Radar Online insider previously revealed. “When she got that puppy she said it was to try and be more like Paris.”

No Paris. No puppy. Murder on the mind. It sounds like Bynes needs a hug…or, better yet, more professional help.
