Olivia Wilde is fairly convincing and totally creepy as a newly risen from the dead chic in a new trailer from the upcoming low-budget horror film The Lazarus Effect.
The film, headed up by Jiro Dreams of Sushi directed David Gelb, the film follows a group of university scientists led by Frank, who is played by Mark Duplass, and his fiancée Zoe, played by Olivia Wilde, who discover a way to bring the dead back to life.
When the dean of the university learns of that they are playing God by resurrecting the dead, the project is shut down pronto.
Frank, Zoe and their team of scientists, undeterred from realizing their dream of bringing back the dead, decide to take matters into their own hands and continue with their research in secret.

Needless to say, things will go crazy wrong when Olivia Wilde‘s character is tragically killed and the team brings her back to life, only to realize she’s not quite the girl she used to be.
In the first clip from the film, we see Olivia Wilde, as Zoe, rise from the dead as her fiancé and freaked out team of scientists observe the transformation from dead to un-dead.
The film, which also stars Donald Glover, Evan Peters and Sarah Bolger, opens in theaters on Feb. 27.
