AT&T may have delayed the launch of the upcoming Nokia Lumia 900 by over a month, according to a recent report. Rumors had put the launch at March 18th, but it seems that AT&T will now be shooting for a launch date at April 22nd instead.

Citing “a trusted source” BGR is reporting that the launch date has been pushed back, but gives no hint as to why. The price point of the phone is expected to remain the same, however: $99.99 with a two-year contract.

The Nokia Lumia 900 was unveiled at CES 2012, where it won CNet’s Best of CES 2012 award. The 4G phone runs Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. It has a 1.4 GHz processor, a 4.3-inch AMOLED display, an 8 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 1 megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.

It’s worth noting that neither the original March 18th release date nor the $99.99 price point have been confirmed by AT&T or Nokia. Both details also came BGR’s “trusted source.”

Are you excited for the Nokia Lumia? If it really is under $100, would it convince you to give Windows Phone a try? Let us know in the comments.
