Nicki Minaj has a scandal in her family, and this one doesn’t involve an anaconda or her shapely derriere.

On Thursday, Jelani Maraj, Nicki Minaj’s brother, was charged with raping a 12-year-old.

Page Six reports that Maraj was arraigned on first-degree rape and freed on $100,000 bail. It’s not known whether Nicki Minaj posted bail for her brother or not.

It was just this past August that Jelani Maraj wed Jacqueline Robinson at the Coral House on Milburn Lake in Baldwin, New York. Nicki Minaj foot the bill for the lavish wedding and reception.

Nicki posted a photo of herself with Jelani on Instagram on his wedding day.

“Jelani, I love u more than you’ll ever comprehend,” she captioned it.

Nicki Minaj shelled out about $30,000 for her brother’s wedding day. Might she now be shelling out even more for his legal defense?
