Netflix’s House of Cards may be nominated for nine Emmys, and be eligible for the Directors Guild awards, but it didn’t win anything at the Television Critics Association awards this past weekend.

The show, which has been the subject of a great deal of critical acclaim since premiering on Netflix in February, was up for the awards for Outstanding New Program and Program of the Year. It lost to FX’s The Americans and AMC’s Breaking Bad respectively.

While the show won’t be competing much with The Americans for the Emmys, it is up against Breaking Bad for multiple categories.

House of Cards Season 2 has already been filming, and is due out in 2014.
