Netflix has reportedly struck a new deal with Disney, which will make it the exclusive pay-TV rights to all animated and live action films in the Netherlands.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, it’s a multi-year deal, and will take effect early next year. Scott Roxborough reports:

Highlights include Marvel’s The Avengers, Pixar’s Monsters University and Disney’s The Lone Ranger, as well as back-catalogue titles including The Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, Wall-E and Ratatouille. ABC television productions, including episodes of Lost, are also part of the Dutch deal.

Netflix announced a huge deal with Disney late last year to gain exclusive access to some Disney titles from Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Marvel and Disneynature. The deal here in the U.S., however, doesn’t go into effect until 2016. Earlier this year, however, the company also announced a deal with Dreamworks, which will see more titles from the animation studio (including originals) hitting Netflix much sooner.

The company did recently add more Disney titles to its streaming offerings here in the U.S.

Netflix just launched in the Netherlands last month. Obviously this new Disney deal will be huge in getting the service to generate some steam over there.
